Start in the Control Center for everyday website management. Use Virtualmin for files, database imports, application installation, and other advanced controls. Your hosting login differs from your Control Center account and may differ from your WordPress or mailbox login.
Before you begin #
Sign in to My Account → Hosting services; some layouts call this Services. Choose the intended hosting service. Manage website opens that domain's Control Center tools. For Virtualmin, expand Control panel access and find Hosting login. Your service must be active, paid, and unexpired for its login actions.
Sign in and choose a site #
- Choose One-click login under Hosting login. It opens a temporary Virtualmin session link. Keep that link private; do not bookmark or share it.
- For manual access, choose Control Panel and use the displayed hosting Username and your current hosting password. Show password and Copy password are available when a confirmed password is saved. An Open Virtualmin link on a website page may take you to normal sign-in instead of creating a session.
- Open the Virtualmin section if the interface shows multiple sections.
- Select your domain from the domain selector near the top of the navigation menu.
- Check the selected domain before opening File Manager, Edit Databases, or another management page. On smaller screens, expand the navigation menu first.
The navigation lists actions for the selected domain; the main area shows the corresponding form or information. Available menus depend on your account permissions, enabled services, panel version, and theme. You do not need access to server administration menus to manage a hosted website. Check that it worked #
Confirm that your expected domain appears in the selector. Additional websites use the same hosting owner, so select the intended domain before editing. Sign out on shared devices and keep credentials in a password manager.
If you cannot log in #
If one-click access fails, return to Hosting login and try manual sign-in. Passwords changed directly in Virtualmin do not update the saved Control Center copy. Follow hosting password help before replacing credentials that applications may share. Stop repeated attempts if the service reports a block. Ask support about a certificate warning before submitting credentials.
If setup is incomplete, review its status. Account creation starts after payment and, for a newly purchased domain, registration confirmation; it does not wait for a DNS change. Send support the error and time without passwords or temporary login links. Virtualmin login guide
