Your login email, billing details, and domain registration contacts serve different purposes. Review each relevant area when your name, address, or email changes.
Update the customer account #
- Sign in to My Account.
- Open Account details to update the profile or login email, using the fields available on the page.
- Save your changes and complete any confirmation the site requests.
- Open Addresses to update the billing address used for future checkouts, if that section is available.
- Review the next checkout before payment to confirm it uses the new details.
Editing the account profile does not necessarily update an existing invoice or a domain's registrant contact. If an old invoice needs correction, contact support with its order number and the requested change. Support must follow the applicable invoice process.
Update domain registration contacts #
For domains managed here, open My Account → Domains, select the domain, and review its contact section. Use accurate details and complete any verification message. A registrant change can affect transfer eligibility for some domains. Check the transfer requirements before making a contact change if you plan to move the domain soon.
For a domain registered elsewhere, update its contacts at that registrar. A linked hosting entry does not give our account area permission to change the registration.
Verify the changes #
Check your saved account email and billing details after saving. For domains, check the domain's own contact and verification status. Maintain a reachable recovery address throughout the change so you can receive security and renewal messages.
If you cannot edit a field or a domain change remains under review, send support the domain, field name, and displayed message. Do not include identity documents or full payment details in the initial request.
