Use the password-recovery link on our website to recover your customer account. This process applies to the account used for orders and services; a mailbox, WordPress site, or direct Virtualmin login may have its own password.
Reset a forgotten password #
- Open My Account from the website's navigation.
- Select Lost your password?, Forgot password, or the equivalent recovery link shown beside the login form.
- Enter the email address or username associated with the customer account.
- Open the reset email and follow its link. Check that the destination belongs to the website you intended to use.
- Set a new, unique password and store it securely.
- Return to My Account, sign in, and confirm that your orders and services are present.
If the email does not arrive #
Check spam and quarantine folders. Search for the website name and password-reset messages. Confirm that you entered the account email rather than a hosted mailbox or an old billing address. If you request another reset, use the newest message; older links may no longer work.
If you cannot access the account email, contact support through the website's listed contact method. Provide your domain and order reference and explain that you need account recovery. Support may need to verify ownership before changing access. Send sensitive evidence only through the channel support specifies.
If the reset link fails #
Request a fresh link and open it without copying extra punctuation. Try a private browser window if the browser is keeping an old session. Avoid repeated guesses, which can trigger login protection.
After recovery from suspected unauthorized access, check the account email, orders, domain settings, and any other credentials that may have been exposed. Secure the email account too.
