Domain registration, renewal, transfer, and restoration are different purchases. Check the price for the action you intend to perform rather than assuming every action costs the same.
- Find the extension and operation you need. If our website displays an extension pricing table, compare its Register, Renew, and Transfer columns.
- Read the term alongside the amount. A price shown for a two-year term is the total for that term, not automatically a one-year rate. Only terms offered by the current quote can be purchased.
- Search the exact domain or open its account action to obtain a current quote. A featured extension price or reference table is not a confirmed quote for every individual name.
- Review the cart and final checkout total, including currency and any taxes calculated there. Review the published terms applicable to the purchase.
- Complete checkout while the quote is current. If asked to refresh it, return to the domain action and review the new amount before proceeding.
Why a price may be missing: Some names are premium, have special registry requirements, or do not have a confirmed price suitable for online checkout. A dash or unavailable purchase button is not a zero-price offer. Contact support with the exact domain and intended action.
What to check after paying: Confirm both the order and the domain's fulfillment status. A successful payment can still be followed by a review if the registrar's eligibility or price check changes. Do not pay again to clear that review.
Does transferring add a year? The effect on expiration depends on the extension, registry rules, and circumstances of the transfer. Review the offered term and ask support if the expected expiration is material to your decision. Do not assume a universal extension of one year.
Are refunds or cancellation automatic? Use the current terms on our website or ask support before purchasing. This guide does not establish a refund promise. Registrar services can already have been fulfilled by the time a cancellation is requested. ICANN notes that registrars set their own transfer pricing in its transfer FAQ.
