A Suspended status needs review of the service and the reason for the restriction. A payment issue is one possible cause; security incidents or service conditions can also require action.
Check the account #
- Open My Account → Hosting services (or Services) and confirm the affected domain.
- Review related orders, renewal notices, and customer messages.
- Check your account email, including spam, for a request from support.
- If a renewal needs payment, verify the amount and order reference before paying it.
- If no reason appears, contact support with the domain, service status, and order number.
Ask what action is needed, whether your data remains available, and what must happen before reactivation. Do not rely on an assumed grace or retention period.
Complete the requested action #
For billing, resolve the identified payment issue and ask support to confirm the service state. For an infected application, follow the cleanup instructions and keep evidence of the steps completed. For resource limits, identify the files or activity responsible before removing data or ordering an upgrade.
Do not change nameservers, reinstall the website, or buy another hosting account simply because the existing account is suspended. Those actions may complicate recovery without addressing the cause.
Verify recovery #
Once support or the account page confirms reactivation, check panel access, the public website, database-backed pages, and mail delivery. Confirm any missed scheduled jobs or queued messages that matter to your business.
If the website still fails after the service becomes active, record the current error and time. The remaining problem could be in the application or cached DNS rather than the service status.
